you could try disabling simple file sharing

some routers have bugs and if DHCP is enabled, it kinda screws up file and printer sharing

i had problem with my SMC wireless B router that i got for $20 CAD
lol

but i solved it by disabling DHCP
and manually provide the IPs to each comp
give that a try
