Thanks for your help, but I did resolve it all...it was the firmware version on the router that didnt allow DHCP to operate correctly....I installed the latest 3.35 and that was the problem ...I found this out from one of the dlink support people that 2.18 was the best version without problems...that version wasnt offered at the normal

support site, we had to download it from their FTP site. Only 3 days out of my life lost LOL...I wish they could have told me on the 1st of the 3 calls i made. Dont let them manual config the card if they try...its all automatic in most cases...no bandaids pls =)
