usually storms on the east coast are much more predictable
they usually go from south to north

at pacific, it happens anywhere

and yeah the warmth makes it much worse as the air pressure changes
especially when it lands and temperature changes again...

i saw the news with a shot of helicopter hovering over a bridge lined up with cars on their way to evacuate
quite a sight
