why is that funny? maybe i dont want to save to get a 64. its gonna take long enough to save the money for a new sempron machine. sorry that everyone cant afford to compute at your standards.

edit: in addition, this is a budget machine. it will cost about $150 using parts that i already have. never claimed it to be a performance monster, i have no need for a machine like that right now. any work that i do can actually be done on my current machine without bogging it down one bit, and i dont have time to play games. for my purposes, i dont need an athlon64, so i'm not going to spend the money on performance that i'm not even gonna use. now after i finally finish a degree, and my wife is settled into her business - maybe i'll have time to play with a faster more powerful machine. until then, its budget. so if you have any reason why a sempron, or celeron - BUDGET chips- should not be used in BUDGET machines, let me know.
