Energy in = Energy out + loss

That's why I'm saying that you will put in at least as much energy as you expect to get out, the best you can do is a 1 to 1 ratio, which will not happen in any equipment made in massive quantities. It's damn hard to get that kind of efficiency in a labratory. So why add the extra step and extra loss? It's just a battery, not an energy source.

Also, the figures and prototypes you see, such as the skateboard from GM, use pure water.
