sorry to bump a dead thread but this shows on google's first page of search results for this motherboard, and i'd like to help document this board...
I'm working on the m922lu (PCChips). I've set all jumpers (ABCD + 2.5v), minus the 133Mhz one, since the screen won't even come on with it on...
This computer crashes while loading XP. It will load fine when the ABCD are switched back to the SDRAM settings, or if I disable L2 cache (which makes the computer run like a 486).
I examined the capacitors closely on the motherboard, and it appears that the medium sized capacators surounding the processor are "bubbled up". From what I recall, this is a common sign of faulty capacitors.
So, for the record, I have tried and failed as well with this motherboard. Perhaps bad capacators is just another of the multiple problems with this poorly made board.
Note: I've tried 4 brands of PC2700 RAM, 2 Power Supplies, checked system temperature, re-seated the CPU, removed all attached, etc, and I can only get it working with the SDRAM.
Again, sorry for the post, but this is the only board that still works after all these years. Cheers all.
