If you're talking about VNC the software which works somewhat like PC Anywhere but is free, well yes I have used it.

I use it for my broadcast boxes to which I do not have monitors or mice attached to. They just sit and run in a corner.

I use VNC to connect to them remotely and restart them etc.

Works pretty sweet. Gives me a desktop via the broswer and is password protected so not just anyone can access it.

If  you assign a valid outside IP you can even remotely admin the box from where ever. I haven't run into any problems using it.

If this isn't what you were talking about then well um uh um just disregard this or blow it away  ;D
