RSS doomed.
As RSS is becoming more known to the mainstream users and press, the bandwidth issue reported by many sites (Eweek, CNet, InternetNews) related to feeds is becoming a reality. Stats from sites like Boing Boing are showing a real concern regarding feeds bandwidth usage.

I think the problem is that we are still trying to use packets to stream data. That means that instead of sending a single stream of data, broadcasters are sending duplicated streams for each user. It's time for access points and a digital TV type (or digital radio) of layout.

I agree, have internet tv, so you can log on at a certian time, and you're met with a broadcast. It would be awsome because ppl could watch tv and brouse the net at the same time.

The thing is, it wouldn't be on-demand if everyone was made to do that, defeating the entire purpose of RSS.
