Default Problem opening more than two programs at a time

I am currently using my aunt's computer. The problem with her computer is that it can't have more than two applications running at a time (besides background programs). Programs will only work when it's the only program that's open. Each time I would try to open a program of any kind, I always get an error report that has been linked to the msctf.dll file in the system32 folder. I tried replacing the dll with a different version (moved original to a different folder) as well as registering it on the computer, but programs didn't want to open.

Basic question is, how would I be able to fix this problem?

edit: Nevermind. I was able to fix the problem myself. I just had to unregister the DLL.....I hate stupid computers.

Default

1. open safe mode (command)
2. replace system32 and dllcache
3. scan a spy remover and antivirus
4. restart normal mode
