Default Flash Voyager GT 4GB

Everything USB has just posted the first review of Corsair's fastest flash drive. Corsair claims their Flash Voyager GT 4GB to reach as fast as 34MB/s read and 28MB/s in addition to being an extremely durable drive with the rubber casing. So, who's going to need a flash drive this fast? On top of my head, I can think of someone who needs to install Vista from the USB key. The install process will be cut by more than half since the drive has much faster transfer speed and low access time. There are also people who OS straight from the thumbdrive.

Read on to find exactly how Corsair broke the record and how it endured the day-long torture by the dyer and Honda Element.

The Good
- 32.1/22.5 MBps sustained
throughput
- Resilient to shock and laundry day
- Relatively
inexpensive
- Quality lanyard

The Bad
- Encryption software requires
administrative privileges
- Blocks adjacent USB port(s)
