Killer Notebooks vs WidowPC

Gear Digest grabs the Executioner made by Killer Notebooks and sets up a might match against another tough opponent, the WidowPC Sting 517D.

As tested, both units had the same chassis, battery, CPU, motherboard and graphics card though they were configured with different memory, cooling and hard drives.

Let's see what happens?

The reviewer states that the Executioner has a marginally better price of $3700 compared to the $4300 Sting from Widow PC. First off $600 is not marginal, also the $600 cheaper Executioner comes with 3GB of ram not 2GB and an extra retail Seagate hard drive for a Raid 0. I would say that configuration and cheaper price puts the Executioner well over the top. We stand by our Review of the Executioner in that its' been the best performance/value we have seen come through our site.
