Default Stuck on BIOS

Hi.
My computer fails to get past the bios with my main HDD plugged in =[
The bios get stuck when it scans for drives. This only started happening after i was told to restart during the installation of XP.

Specs:
D925XCV mobo
2gb ram
x800xt
seagate 320gb sata II

I have tried unplugging everything and let it boot on the bare minimum, but that doesnt seem to help. Also, the drive works perfectly on another computer. I suspect that there is something wrong with my motherboard, but who knows.....

Any ideas?,
Thanks

Unplug computer, pull bios battery and let it sit for ten minutes, put battery back and move bios clear jumper to clear position for a good 20 seconds. Make darn sure you move jumper back to normal position and plug in computer.

Try to boot up. This may or may not work, you may have a fried motherboard if it does not work.

I would try to clear bios several times to make sure. But make sure you always unplug powwer cord before messing with battery or clearing with the jumper and put jumper back before plugging back in.
