Default How legit is this ?

This is a partial copy of an email I recieved and wonder if it is legal. Since it is being marketed in mass emailings ( spam ), they must have themselves covered someway. Is anyone here using any of this software from them ? If so would you comment ?

Introduction
We sell Backup CDs, also known as Warez CDs. Backup CDs are copies of Software.

For example if you go into a shop and buy Windows XP Pro, for about $299 you get the Serial, the CD, the Box and the Manual.

If you order it off us, you get:
The Windows XP CD and the Serial Number. It works exactly the same, but you don't get the manual and box and the price is only $19.99.
That is a saving of $280, and the only difference is you don't have a
colorful box and manual - which are not very useful.

lol they're trying to pray on people that are stupid enough to think it's legal. Look at the wording. They use "backup" quite a bit.

That is a saving of $280, and the only difference is you don't have a
colorful box and manual
- which are not very useful.

lol. yeah the other only difference is that and the cd is burned

Yeah, but this is Win XP Pro, where you are allowed to make back up copies, not like XP. This is probally what the SP 1 is referring to that I posted on the other thread.

You are allowed to make back-up copies for yourself, not to sell. If you sell your backup copy its just as illegal as selling a *copy* of the cd.
