Default Ouch.

An Aussie SAS trooper hunting Taliban fighters in Afganistan managed to blow off his big toe this morning when he trod on a land mine.

He was flown to a US med base by a blackhawk.

Thats gotta REALLY hurt...guess he's lucky thats all he blew off...

Land Mines aren't no joke, they can and do some serious damage. To just lose a toe is a very very lucky thing.

When I was in Iraq I lost one of my buds to a land mine. He lost far more than his toe. Wasn't a pretty site.

A Toe I can do with out. Leg eh, I'll get around, start losing more than that well . . . .

Hope the guy is alright.

Yeppers,

Six months over there with the 3rd Armored Division. Dec - May. We hauled all the tanks from the port of Dahmam to where ever they needed to go. Then when it was all over we hauled all the refugees supplies and POW's etc to where they needed to go.

Nothing happens with out the good ol Transportation Corp  ;D
