Default No more random image for me!

Random quote now. The script reads a text file of 15,322 quotes, and generates an image with the text from a randomly selected quote.

I have a funny feeling my bandwidth will go way up with people wanting to read more quotes just F5'ing alot :/

I wanted to make the background transparent (It's a PNG and GD does not support Gif anymore). But IE has a PNG bug that will not show transperant layers.

I set a URL rewriter so I could change the text color and the background color simply by changing the URL to the image, but since PHPBB rotates it's background color for posts, it's kinda pointless :/

Gonna miss some of the images man. But I'm sure we'll like the quotes.

I don't have that many (only about 70 pics)

besides, with over 15,000, it's more random, those were getting old after about 2 years anyways.

oh and there's also a 'view source' button under it. So you can see the magic behind scenes

it's even more cool as it generates a random quote per post, not per thread!

it doesn't for me. Your cache settings must be different.

I already tested it in the other major browsers, including mozilla.

Yeah they can do it right.

From what I can tell, IE has problems with transperant layers, not pixels

i haven't got a clue how this works, where do you place the files on your server? Is there anything you should edit in the php-file? Are there rules how you should place the quotes in the textfile? Please help me, because this script is waaaay cool
