Default zone alarm, how do i know if im being hacked?!?

ok i have zone alarm ver 3.7.143, and i have the security settings on high, and i blocked the trusted and internet zone servers. since install i have 174 blocked intrustions, 1 of them high rated, and blocked 42 access attempts. how am i supposed to know if its a hacker thats trying to hack my comp. sometimes i get alerts from the same ip address like xxx.xxx.x.xxx:1057 or something. is there any way to tell if its a hacker or not.. PLEASE HELP i need to know

well, the game called StarTron uses port 1057.

what other ports are they trying to access?

Default these other ports...

many of them have the same souce ip address but the destination is xxx.xxx.x.xxx:80, 1048, 1049, 1050, 1051, 1045, 1052, 1044, 1045, 1046, 1048, 1049, 1051, all these are destination ip address, the souce ip is 207.xxx.xxx.xx:80

i have windowns 98, and when i goto the control panel then, network tab, under configuration, i see 2 dial up adapters and 2 tcp/ip dial up adapters, with the second one in both says (vpn support), is it suppose to say this or what. help me please....!!!!!!!

last time i installed AOL, it installed VPN too. (installed on my grandma's computer)

and here is the port info

so that doesnt mean im hacked right, since i have 2 aol adapters and 2 tcp/icp, both with (vpn), but what about the 2 tcp/icp adapters??

ok, i have two dial-up AOL adapters with the second one with (vpn support), and i also have two tcp/ip dial up adapters with (vpn support), and i have a NDISWAN -> microsoft virtual private neworking adapter. does anyone else have the same number of adapters as i do, or does this mean that i have been hacked or what....
