Kazaa is finally doing something about the bad mp3 copies....they are suing the RIAA for inaapropriate use of the P2p networks since they have been distributing it.

In the meantime im trying to download some new songs (oldies) even with the auto bad ip update thingy its really not working but I have some tips for other people to avoid getting those horrible yucky bad! fakes

1.Dont download any songs that have a high number of users with it (more than 15)
2.Check the sizes and song lengths
3.Preview the songs
4.Run the IP updater AOAP (as often)
5.Find a mp3 scanner that checks your mp3's for abnormalities(someone find one i know theyre out there but i havent been able to find one recently)
6.Look at fourms for other tips
7.Find other networks or filesharing clients (I.E. a member at this fourm (didnt know if he wanted me mentioning his username) created a dc++ server at his university yes this is against policy but it works quite well)
8.Use Bittorrent works pretty well as long as you are not behind a firewall it works slower if you are.
any other suggestions please do so ill add them to this list

Nother thing

set the quality of song you are seatrching for to 192 those are usually real i heard
(look under more search options)
