Default London?

Okay my mom may be taking a job for reigional director for the Euorpe part of M$ for Office 03 and beyond and so I may be in London or Paris or Dublin. Most likely London...I havent been able to find any of this on google...all i get is real estate sites :P

So i am wondering a couple things

-Are electronics and comp parts cheaper or more expensive in london
-What age is driving age for England
-Drinking age
-Child labor laws (teenager working laws)
-Prices of misc things (compared to US)
-Is internet any good

So yeah ill probably have more questions im gonna keep looking on google

Bottom line

IM LEAVING THE STATES! YES!!!!!!(still a maybe)
but a good maybe

i wouldn't be too excited, britain is considerably less safe from other countries/nukes/terrorist attacks, though they aren't a target as often as usa is. At any rate, enjoy living under the queen! :P

actually, GB has considerably less crime, both foreign and domestic. prometheus, the answer to your question is: it depends. Some electronics are cheap as hell as compared to the US. the EU Common Market has driven down prices for those good made in the Market for all the countries in the market. Electronics made in the US are probably another story. Drinking age is quite young (like 16 or so), driving age: 18ish. You'll also be buying things with the pound, which costs a whole lot more than the dollar. So you'll think you're getting something pretty cheap, say 3pounds, but then you realize it's actually 5 bucks or so. not that I've ever been to Europe, but I have a few friends from there and a good friend of mine is going to cambridge university, so this is all related info.

And we are an ally of USA and we dont have that big of an army, yet our country is about the same size as america (but we dont like living in the desert). we are safe, and we have huge population of muslims, asians, adn everybody else. But i tell ya what i wouldnt like to live amongst poms (slang for english), bloody toffs. We gunna win rugby also; so i wouldnt wana live in country where they cant play cricket, or rugby.. just no sense in it.. hehe
