Default P4p800 delux problem help

iam building a new pc and are having problems with the motherboard can anyone help.
I have a Asus P4p800 Delux mobo and when switch on for the first time get the beeps then message of memory error through speakers.
Switch off and on then get cpu error, switch on then off and just the beeps.
I have moved memory about and re-mounted the P4 prossesor and still does the same.
The memory iam useing is Corsaire twinx 128mb x 4

any ideas

Moved to Hardware


Reseat the RAM
Check All Connections
Reseat ALL PCI cards
Make sure your RAM isnt too fast/slow for the Mobo
Make sure the CPU is correct make




If that doesnt work look up what each # of beeps means.

set the bios back to defaults and see if that fixes it

how do you check for esd?

I forget its in my A+ book I think

But at the end of the day If its not working after everything you probably fried something
