.BIN Extension
How do I open .BIN files..? WinRAR isn't picking anything up...

i do believe that .bin is a cd image. like .iso and .cue
.bin and .cue are used in VCDs and SVCDs, thats the only time i've personally seen them used.

it should be accompanied by a .cue file, which you mount in a virtual CD drive, i used to use them occasionally, i think clone CD created those tpes of files. a good program to use is daemon tools.

a couple of days ago i downloaded some .bin files, but i can't open them, they're accompanied by .cue files. I downloaded daemon tools, but i don't know how it works. anybody got some advise??

you need to mount the .cue file into the virtual drive.

in your sys tray, right click on the dameon icon, and there should be a 'mount an image' type of option (its been a while, so not entirely sure on this). then you just browse to the image on your Cdrive, this will mount the image, and emulate a cdrom drive.

they aren't images. the files i downloaded are Rome Total War CD1 , 2, 3
they contain the data of the game.
