Default ASUS A8N32-SLI really needs the -5V?

Greetings to all!

I am on buying the mentioned ASUS A8N32-SLI motherboard. I wanted to pair it with the Seasonic S-12 500W PSU, but the person at the shop told me that the motherboard will not work with this PSU because of the lack of the -5V line.

Is this really true or not? I do not think so, I even asked the question 2 times, and the answer was always the same: it needs the -5V line.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Verybigboy.

I have never heard that before. And to boot I work at a computer store, and after all the A8N32's I've seen go out the door I've never heard anyone say that before.
