Default Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Won't Power Up

Hey all,
Been browsing these forums for a while now, but this is my first post.

I have a set of the older Klipsch Promedia 5.1 with the control tower (pictured below). The past couple days the control tower has not been able to change volumes or power off when I push the button. I had to pull the plug on the sub/amp to reboot it. A little go it just shut off and won't boot back up. Any ideas here?

Was thinking if it's just the tower, maybe Klipsch sells replacements or I could use the pod that comes with the new Ultra series?

It'd be really peculiar if the speakers had all blown simultaneously and through that series of events. Far more likely it is the Control Tower that is not functioning, like you mentioned, except more specifically the switches as opposed a fuse. Before you replace individual components, I would suggest using the warranty if you have one for your set. If it's not, then the only place I imagine you being able to get the Control Tower itself is Klipsch's customer service. My last resort would be to open it up and fix the switches themselves, for the volume and power controls.

Well, it's not the fuse. Opened 'er up and fuse looks perfect. I have a new control tower on the way. Nice thing is that the control pod for the 5.1 Ultra is compatable with the 5.1 THX...so I should have a much nicer experience adjusting volumes (assuming it works).

Fat, please don't say anything at all unless it's useful. I hate reading your replies because they're all SPAM.
