German security professional denied access to US, Black Hat

German researcher Thomas Dullien (better known as "Halvar Flake") was denied entry into the United States on Sunday because he's attending the Black Hat security conference as a German private citizen, and thus subject to H1B visa regulations. As Halvar Flake, Dullien has previously attended or presented at the Black Hat USA conference over the last seven years, and has never had a problem before.
