it's not protocol dependent.

does anyone know how to do this? mine is supposed to be 2 megabits - but ive done 300 - 400k constant as well - on Kazaa no less.... my friend is always tweaking his recieve windows and without digital he still gets a bit over 2 mega bits, when its rated at one. any ideas?

this is possibly due to caching on one of comcast's servers. For stuff that gets hit a good bit (i.e. Windows update) they can save a hell of a lot by downloading the stuff to an HD and then serving it from there instead of the original website. So, it may be faster b/c they aren't having to download it themselves, just serving it on their local intranet. maybe.
