Build The Best PC
Ok this is kinda a game but not really, in your opinion build the best (resonable, meaning no duel processors, 350 gig hd, etc) computer setup possible and try to give as much info about each item (link, price, etc). This will be kinda fun if people get into it, so get to it hop hop!

There is no answer to the question because it depends on the owners
Interests
Plan of Use
Wallet
In my Opinion tho
I would like a
Pentium 2.0 ghz with HT
A Geforce 4 MX
512 mb RAM
A 10 GB HD for music and other stuff
and a 40 gb for..well.... everything else
A creative Inspire 5.1 (affordable)
I would get this all at the usual places
Ebay
Pricewatch
Tiger Direct
Why are you asking this question anyway?

Thats what I mean, if you had 3k in money or so would would you get for a top of the line system. This is just an opinion question. I just like to see the variety of what people would want.

The best bang for the buck CPU has got to be the Intel 1.6a. Your almost guaranteed 2.2Ghz and if your lucky, you'll get 2.4Ghz out of it easily.

If you want to build a nice gaming pc for right now. I wouldn't go for the highest processor. Maybe an amd 2400XP+ with an ASUS NFORCE 2 bridge set. Def go with the Radeon 9700 Pro and cosair XMS ram. 40gb HD and up and the os would be: Win2k Pro. Runs games the best.
