AMDZone has Linux world coverage

A lengthy 5900FX review:
Are there things I didn't like about this product ? Well two actually. First of all the heatsink/fan combo still is taking up too much space. you will loose the PCI slot just below your AGP port. Secondly without a doubt is the price. No matter what I say about the 'dough' these babies will sell. It has always been that way and will remain that way.

Viper's Lair has an MSI SFF review:
"As a PC, the MEGA 651 proved to be a decent performer, despite using a one-year-old chipset. Performance surpassed the XPC SS51G, though it was clearly outclassed by the ABIT IC7. The MEGA 651 did not crash once during testing, which bodes well if you like to work, as well as play."

PCStats has an article on accessing your computer remotely. While they do call it a beginners guide, I'm amazed they don't talk about how to work with SSH, the hands down best way to get secure remote access. Well, there may be some other proprietary methods, such as Magi, they are normally geared more toward the corporate customer. Read on if you hate carrying around floppies or are constantly brushing your teeth and burning a CD as you need to be running out the door:

"Have you ever arrived at school or the copiers with your floppy or CD and discovered that your latest paper did not exactly make a successful transition from the hard drive? Ever been away from home and wished you could get at your computer for just a second to get some contact info? There are any number of reasons why setting up your computer for remote access is a good idea, and PCstats is going to show you how to do it. The ability to access files and information on your computer over the Internet is useful for work and play, as well as being just plain impressive in a geeky kind of way. Several technologies are available to enable this kind of access. They range from from the shared file system built into most versions of Windows up to the proprietary systems developed for such software packages as PCanywhere by Symantec. File access is (quite obviously) intended to allow you to access your files from a remote location using the Internet, while remote control of the desktop brings the entire desktop of your home computer over to the computer you are currently using, allowing you to use your home computer as if you were currently sitting in front of it. At least, that's the idea anyway."
