Default AMD set to Rebound

According to American Statesman thats excatly what could happen.

AMD shares leaped more than 14 percent Monday after investment magazine Barron's reported that a longtime technology bear had become more positive on the stock, citing a powerful new chip that has won endorsements by some of the world's biggest technology companies.

They are of course speaking of the Opteron which by all the latest news will be the processor to own for gaming and buisness.

back in 8th grade ... (4 years ago..) we did a thing in fantasy stock market. I had tons of shares in rambus, I was in first place, so everyone sold their stock and bought rambus. Rambus split so I sold all my shares and bought something else. Rambus stock proceeded to hit the floor.

Yeah, you've got to be good in the stock market or else you can lose a fortune. Look at the great depression.

the depression wasn't from only bad traders.. it was a bunch of things during the 20's that lead up to everybody realizing that they'd screwed up one day so they all sold..

I know, but the stock plunged making a bunch of rich ppl who had all their $$ invested in it go bankrupt. That in turn forced them to quit buying and many banks closing on the farmers accounts which made them pennyless throwing the economy into a crash. It's like the domino effect.
