Dear Juno member,

We want to let you know about some exciting news. On June 7, it was
announced that Juno and another leading Internet access provider,
NetZero, have agreed to a strategic merger. Together, we will form a
new company called United Online, Inc. This merger will bring together
two of the strongest companies in the Internet access market to form the
second largest Internet service provider in the United States.

The most important thing for you to know is that this merger does not
change our commitment to providing top-quality service to our
subscribers. We will continue providing Juno services (and NetZero
services) after the merger, and in the future United Online plans to
unveil new products and services that will further enhance your online
experience.

Working together with NetZero, we will strive to create the best
possible Internet access experience for our subscribers. As a bigger,
stronger company with significant resources, United Online will be one
of the premier Internet services in the world.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to a very
exciting future under the United Online umbrella.

Sincerely,

Charles Ardai
President and CEO
Juno Online Services, Inc.

No offense to anyone that uses Juno but I truly dislike that ISP anymore.  I thought it was great when I started and had great service at first.  Then about a year ago they told me my usage pattern did not fit there buisness model (I averaged around 1 to 2 hours a day tops and sometimes went a few days without touching the internet.)  They then told me they would regulate my useage to a certain amount of time at times that was conveint to them.  And that I would be cut-off whenever they wanted.  The first time they locked me out I was never able to regain a connection through them,  I got fed up and went elsewhere.  How it is now I don't know but if they haven't changed all the merger's in the world won't help it they continue to alienate customers.

I'm a premium subscriber to Juno, and also still get logged off unexspectedly, while downloading, or surfing the forums. Got so bad I brought in Compuserve as a secondary ISP, just to stay connected. I am right now considering dropping them when the time I paid for is up at the end of September.
