Hitachi Global Storage Technologies plans to announce this week a massive hard drive designed to store corporate data or record about 400 hours of video for consumers.

my question: how long is the warranty? what is a 400 gig drive worth if it's only good for a year? oh, and what about backing these things up?? dual-layer, blue laser DVD burners (preferably behaving like DVD+RW) need to arrive _soon_. yea...right

woooooooow thats cool.... I don't want one...... i haven't even filled up my 120GB HDD yet..... but still thats a very cool idea
