Default Terminal Session Connections

My dad has VPN software installed on the computer so that he can work from home when he needs/wants to. Because of the security of it, it does not allow several different things. The two that actually have any effect on any of our daily usage of the system is that it does not allow usage of the Welcome Screen, only the classic logon prompt, and it does not allow Fast User Switching.

The Welcome Screen, or rather lack of, we have generally gotten used to and it has little effect any more, however, any work-arounds that anyone knows would be greatly appreciated.

I have a small work-around for the Fast User Switching, but was hoping that someone would be able to help me with this. First, my work-around is just disconnecting the session (either through the command prompt with tsdiscon or clicking "Disconnect" on the Users tab in the Task Manager) and then logging on to the other user. At that point, I can use the Windows key + Q to switch users (via the Super-Fast User Switcher provided with PowerToys). I was hoping someone would be able to help me figure out the correct usage of the program tscon.exe because I don't want to have to disconnect the user to log another user on and every time I have attempted, it says I have invalid parameters. I want a complete bypass of the VPN restrictions.

The parameters it specifies are:

TSCON {sessionid | sessionname} [/DEST:sessionname]
[/PASSWORDw] [/V]

Thanks!
