The guys at
3D Velocity take a look at the Corsair Hydrocool 200EX.
One of the obvious differences between the original Hydrocool200 and the new 200EX is the welcome addition of air filters on both sides. These are removable for easy cleaning,
The body of the unit is still the same, very dark tinted Perspex which is pretty opaque in normal lighting except for the backlit flow confirmation, but which as if by magic, becomes almost transparent in low light as the innards are lit from the same bulb that provides the backlighting. Not quite sure why they didn't use an LED here though?
Seems that 3D Velocity really liked the new Hydrocool. Make sure to check out the review to see how well it performed against a standard air cooler.
