Default Need help on router information.....step inside

Has anyone tried this cable/dsl 4 port router by network everywhere? It has built in NAT for added security...so i dont know anything about that. Is it the same or better than a built in firewall? Can you also please tell me exactly what the NAT thing is suppose to do? Can you people give me security info about this if you have had any experience with this router please.

NAT is what the device does, network address translation. every "router" for home use has this. it isn't a firewall. the purpose of NAT is to have multiple computers in your home connect to the internet using a single address your provider gives you.

it isn't in itself a security feature.
