URGENT!!! Corrupt file - need text

I have a corrupted Lotus WordPro file of size 591k.  It was made on a PC running Windows 98fe using Lotus Word Pro Release 9 for Windows 95 (Release N98.0.2815.0).

When I try to open this file in Windows 98fe, I get the following error message:

"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.  If the problem persists, contact the program vendor."

Details of this error show it is an invalid page fault in module WORDPRO.EXE at 017f:0046e33d.

When I try to open the same file from another PC running Windows NT, I get "Access violation 0x0000005; Address 0x0047778f.  Application error."

It is very important that I recover at least text from this file.  Is there any way to do this?  Anybody have a suggestion?  I know the text is 'still there', because I can see it behind the error message.  I can even scroll down a few pages before the error occurs.  There must be a way to extract the text.....
