Their newest claim to fame is an engine that is prolific not only on the PC but also across the various next-gen platforms. Epic will be the first to tell you that they got lucky with how well their engine is translating to the next-gen platforms. One of the first games using Unreal Engine 3 across multiple platforms is their very own Unreal Tournament 2007."

Almost all of Epic's games get released to PC first before making the transition to console..
