Default Newegg.com your American and Canadian opinions needed

Hello guys and gals,

Most of you have purchased hardwares from Newegg.com

I would like your inputs on what you think of their services, prices, stock, and so on.

Any general opinions would be appreciated.

For the Canadians, how would you feel if newegg opens newegg.ca and have a warehouse in Canada?

Thanks in Advance.

I like their prices, but I agree that their website does suck the big one.

Agreed Keefe. Newegg has above average prices as well as free shipping for most of their items. Their site is the only drawback if there is any.

I've recently had two orders go awry from there. One was they shipped to my old address after having specified the new address. The other was a problem with getting my debit card validated. I called Newegg and my bank twice each, and both parties said nothing was wrong, yet the order never went through. Otherwise, they have satisficing prices, that is, they might not be the lowest, but they're consistently low and an easy place to hit up for equipment. that said, their site blows. i generally search on pricewatch for i want and then hit the newegg link to grab it.

yea i LOVE their shipping policy for most stuff.. but it drives me up a wall when stuff like fans and floppy drives cost the same s/h as the item itself :/ But when you buy big ticket items it's usually free s/h.

its not that, navigating the site is just annoying and bad in general. the prices are good and the service has been good to me.

pricewatch isn't a site to buy things though, and the lowest isn't the best deal.

the worst you could probably go is tigerdirect. i've ordered so many things with bad products, bad service. and i don't reccomend them. i guess i've had bad experiences with them. so thats why i'm telling you to avoid them like the plague.
