Default Bittorrent

Pro just showed me bit torrent, i forwarded my ports, etc. but whats with my DL speed? its 1 - 3, anybody know whats up?

Bittorrent SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! It will only let you download as fast as you upload. That you-know-what that programmed it needs to get a life. Unless you have to have it, get rid of that POS, I'll never use it again. Also, if you have DSL, your upload is limited, so therefore, it will kill your download....

dl speeds w/ BT depend on a large number of factors, ports are just one of them. number of other seeds is also important. BT is ok, i'm tno the biggest fan myself, but more for the cpu/ram overhead than from bandwidth usage perspective

eh, it was high seeds, my upload is 32kbs, and i found it on IRC if i want it anyway. thx though - program does sUCK. speaking of the RIAA im doing a report on file sharing for 2 dif classes, anybody know any good sites i could use as a reference?

I upload only at 3k and I get speeds up to 200k sometimes depends on how many seeds

Use ABC BT client its the best it lets you specify ports
in case you did not forward the right ones........
6881-6999
make sure the service is forwarded to your IP on the network
