like there is no hype for halo 2 :/

For the original Halo, the Single PLayer was OK: (ie repetitive indoor levels and overused wall textures) but the multiplayer was the mode that shined. Hopefully they will make Halo 2's single player up to par with other great single player games such as Far Cry and Doom 3.

the single player pwns in halo... excellent ending levels, although the ending cinematic was unfulfilling... I've only played the far cry demo but it seems just like more of the same.. and that's why I am not going to buy it..

i'm not much of a gamer anymore, but i had to go with doom 3. the first video game on a computer i ever played ALOT was Doom (i randomly found a shareware cd). i was also the first kid on the block to have it. oh, it was so much fun with my brand new 486 DX2 66MHz. The Pentium's hadn't even been released yet. That computer was great. ahh, memories... hence Doom 3
