Default Artic Silver 3 compound works!

Here is the situation, I was restless last night after my pc was running warmer than usual "108 F" running seti and other programs. SO I ran to my local fried electronics store and was on the search to cool it better. I picked up a vantec tornado fan, read the article in hardware about that mess, and a $8 tube of artic silver 3. I was wondring why it is so popular and thought if people actually shell out $8 for a tiny tube of crap it must do something. well to make a long story short the stuff works awsome! Took out my processor and cleaned the old white ghetto grease that was near cooked on off of it and off the heat sink, also did the via 333 chip after carefully removing the heatsink and fan off of the dragon platinum board. I put the correct thin amount on the chip and on the processor very evenly. Also did my video card heat sink as well. Ok now for the results, after running the system hard as I could before it was getting a warm 108F and the chassis temp was 88F. Now after that process my comp is running at a max pegged 103F overclocked at 1810 from 1733 and runs normally at 97F -99F!!! The cassis is now running at around 81-84 which checks the temp of the via chipset that I coated. In short artic silver 3 is reccomended I give it 10 out of 10 skirts up!
