Default Zalman quiet cooling

I've been thinking about getting "quiet" cooling from zalman.. look at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2057279407 .. is it me or is there no fan included? or is that fan that goes on a clip that goes on a pci slot the fan?

yep the fan mounts on the metal bracket that you screw down where the pci cards are. I have heard really great things about this fan.

But isn't 60.00 to high for that fan?

if you want that quietness, sure

if you want the performance of a heatsink fan, NOOOO!

it looks 10x better than it performs

heres a review
http://www.maxreboot.com/review.php?ID=178

it is really big
and often it gets in the way of resistors on the mobos

so if you can find it in a retail store, dont buy from ebay because you wont be able to return it
just incase it doesnt fit your mobo

Default performance

the review says it performs well.. but since i just ruined my video card.. i have to take care of that before i splurge on cooling.

sorry to show you that review

that isnt accurate
as most of us know, when just reviewing one product without comparisons, the usual outcome is "NICE", "GOOD!"...

read this Toms Hardware Guide

i think they are right on this case

Although the Zalman coolers look really slick, their thermal performance is disappointing.
