Been waiting 'bout half an hour for this download to start..(200+ ppl in the line)

Nearly there...ad once it starts I can go back to sleep

yeah. I'm on the other side of that. I'm doing cgi for a website on planettribes. Any files for our members to upload, have to be ftp'd (via PHP's ftp functions) to the planettribes server (the site is on a specific gamespy cgi server). This dosnet always work out . In addition I have to stand in line also. But I can tell you, ever since gamespy has been offereing private servers for $$$, public server bandwidth has gone up quite a bit.

Simo,

People will subscribe to anything if you convince them they need it bad enough. Or you have something everyone want's or at least thinks you have what they want. Sell sell sell.

Lines do suck, and if you're in London well queue's suck too  ;D

It makes me think of Morpheus or other music alternatives with the "Queded" progress.

FINALLY! some more ppls who HATE fileplanet, ive been looking on emule and trawling the net for a username + Password for fileplanet!
all i wanna download is the Bender soundpack for UT2003. its only a meg and i dont see why i should have to wait 6 G** **** ****** ***** **** HOURS!!!! for a 1 MEG download!!! they should make an "express lane" or summat like it for the small file users. i lost my 1meg line when i moved to this S***hole. and now all i can get is 32k dial up so its not as if i can connect to the queue, and leave it for a that long coz it would cost about £36.00 for a 1 MEG download?!?!?!?
anyways. thats my rant for today.

I subscribe to Fileplanet, and a couple of my friends and I share it. It's great and fast when you don't have to wait in lines. Using wireless dsl, I easily get 160 Kbps for my download time. It's only $6/month to subscribe. Go in with somebody and split it.
