All I'm saying is that if we were running equal chipset, memory, and video, your overclocked 2600 wouldn't come close to my overclocked 2.8. Even the AMD nomenclature supports this. The reason I say this is because you keep stating the 2600 performs just as well as a 3.1 which common sense says otherwise. :P
Yes, I agree, with supported chipsets and memory, the 2600 can perform as well as the 2.8 or maybe even better, but not stock side by side as your posts imply.
You got a Hella system there and it perfoms most excellent. However, I think your comments on it are just a bit misleading because there is no proof to support your claims when compaired to an equally compaired system.
But, if you seriously think your system configured as it is.. overclocked and everything would outperform mine with a 9700 pro, then please send me your 9700 pro so I can run some tests to support your theory.
