Default Nero isn't working!

Back when I had 2000 on my machine, Nero worked just fine. Since I've installed XP, nero will not see my burner. Even after I disabled the built in burning service that came with XP, I still can't use it. The odd thing is Nero Infotool knows what my burner is, the speeds, supported stuff...

Any ideas??

That's Adaptec's ASPI Layer. Once I installed it, I had NO problems with ANYTHING as far as CD burning goes. I dont know if it will fix it or not.

I can tell you this, Nero might be using it's own API, and that might be making it not work correctly.

look in the directory with nero.exe for aspi32.sys, winaspi.dll, or wnaspi32.dll and if they're in there, rename them. IF it stil dosent' work try and install adaptec ASPI layer
