with my current specs and geforce FX 5900XT everything high sept water and shadows, i get a steady 50-60 fps on 1280x1024. turning on my flashlight outside is a different story though =P. canceled my order with outpost finally(btw, if you live in WA dont bother with outpost sales tax is in effect for online orders), found another guy to buy an x800 Pro hes shipping it tomorrow .. can't wait. I was one of the 1st to play it in the world simply for being on the west coast , and btw Valve did an excellent job releasing it at midnight SHARP. Myfriends and I had a little "Release Party" last night.. then not surprisingly, everyone including myself vanished when it was released I played a good 20 min of first part and i have to say.. i was glued to it, its nothing short of spectacular; all the hype was worth it.. but i needed some sleep so i quit!
