Treo 600 Unlocking!

Hi:


I know how to check if your Treo 600 is locked or not.

jus type on the phone mode, *#*#33284# and hit dial. It will display if the phone is locked or not.

I have downloaded the prc zip file on to my computer. Please can any one tll me how to flash it to my palm treo 600.

also currently I have the firmware version 3.06 and software version treo 600-1.13-aws. By flashing will I loose the latest firmware and software ?

hi! tech pipol - just wondering if there's a way i can block my lost treo 600- and if so would there be a tools for unblocking it.. just to make sure that if somebody did it already i guess i'll just have to wait my time ( no budget this time) to buy a new one (treo 650).. thanks..

I'm also a mac user with orange uk and I also used a card reader easily to move the files. However when I select the SD Card under "all" I get only 4 icons (although I can seefrom "card info" that all 40 files have been downloaded) one of which is just called "firmware". On selecting it. I get this message;
Software Versions:
Update: 02.09
Module: Mini

and an Update Now icon in the centre. When I click on it I get an error message Fpl ( 0005 )

Can anyone help with this?

I followed the instructions and it seemed to have worked, but I can't get the phone to go onto wireless mode to use the phone?? I press the button but it just reboots and shows Wireless Mode Off

ANy hints?

Boy what a rat race! My phone was working fine until I ran Palmone updater. Then the phone said it wouldn't work with my Sim card.

I just ran the unlocking proceedure and it still doesn't work. When I try to turn on the wireless mode the phone just does a reset.

Anyone have an idea what I should do next?

I'm experiencing the same problems as Luke & Catman (above).

I ran the firmware update and patch install (though rather quickly and not very carefully) and now my wireless mode will not turn back on.

Does anyone have any solutions to get my wireless mode to work again?

I have installed the updater and unzipped the card reader and patch but cant see the sd card as an availble drive in my computer. I must be confused. How do I get the two files onto the sd card

I recently brought a Treo 600 unlocked and when I saw that there were a firmware update I did it without thinking... So now my treo is locked
I need help to unlock it. I search on the web and found that I will nead 2 things that I haven't : the original 1.09 update to use the patched one after it or the CNG 1.11 patched version.
Please help me !!
