Default Nexus DampTek Noise Absorption Material

Does your PC sound like a broken refrigerator or maybe a hair dryer? Nexus has a solution that will let you sleep at night. Nexus (the 'Stop the noise' company) has sent Techware Labs a few items to help us see quiet down our lab machines. Read the review to see if their magic sound absorption material actually performs.

Seems like some cool products. Did the absorption material make any temperature difference in the case despite the case fans?

No, the temp inside the PC didn't rise at all. You have to make sure the flow of air is not restricted by the material. If you end up covering up vents, then your fans will be pushing against each other. I like this stuff a lot. I was looking to put some in my truck to quite down the ride, but after the lining my PC, there wasn't much left. So, I'm looking into dynamat for the auto and using the rest of the Nexus stuff for my server case.
