"Unless you've been living under a rock since last Thursday, you probably know Seagate leaked details of behemoth 750GB hard drives, which was followed by an official announcement early Wednesday morning. Original claims from Seagate said the drives would ship "earlier than expected," but it appears as though the new drives are already here."

That's the point. The mavericks need the space.

That said, I only have 240 gigs and I still have a decent amount of space left. 750 is nuts.
