Default msn messenger v.8 beta

anyone downloaded it and tried it out? Is it worth it? any major troubles? contemplating updating to it but would like to know first. thanks in advance.

You talking about Windows Live Messenger? As that is what it's called now. It doesn't say "MSN" anywhere now haha.

Anyway, I use it and it's pretty cool, it's a lot better looking than earlier 8.0 BETA versions. The colors are normal now too, they used to be a nasty orange color and crap.

Yes, it's very nice; you might want to tweak some things in the options (such as disabling the magnification thingy...)

As well, you should also look at a program called CleanMessenger which allows you to take off ads and unecessary annoying elements of MSN.

yeah, that's what I meant Thanks for the info then, I'll give it a shot then. I've had hell in the past from msn betas and wanted to know before I tried.

I used to use the msn beta, but I Reformatted a while back and didn't like it when I got everything back up... So now I use Trillian.
