DeviantPC has just posted a review of some Corsair XMS3500 memory.

"For Pentium 4s the situation is different. Moving away from the high bandwidth RAMBUS RIMMs, Intel have learned to embrace DDR technology. Although some may argue a waste at the moment, DDR chipsets for the Intel flagship CPU are maturing rapidly. P4s need high bandwidth, the QDR technology (Quad Data Rate) means P4s with a 533MHz bus have throughputs of around 4.2GB/s. If we take PC3500 DDR as the fastest memory around currently, that has a bandwidth of around 3.2GB/s. Spot the difference?"

OCIA checks out the Zalman Passive Chipset Cooler in their latest review. Does this cooler have what it takes to replace an active cooling unit?

All of the motherboards of today offer either passive or active cooling for the Northbridge chipset. While this stock method of cooling the Northbridge may be adequate for normal use, it can be a limiting factor when overclocking."
