I'm not one for real fancy cases, but this
UV reactive case actually looks pretty cool:
"PC cases--the idea of a plain beige or white colored case is a distant memory for many of us. Wild colors, windows, neon lights...that'll make you the envy of all at the next LAN party, right? Errr...wait. Everyone has a flashy case these days. Hmmm. How will you stand out? What could be next? How about a completely see-through acrylic case. Not fancy enough? Add in that the entire case is UV reactive under the proper lighting conditions and you'll have the ultimate "wow" effect. This case, provided by Bullet PC, is one of a new breed of showoff items for your home or office pc. The questions I had when first looking at the unassembled case were: How easy is this thing to assemble?...how is the quality of it?...and of course...how will it look?"
Universal Backup Bios...nice
Overclocking the Opteron:
"We just posted the first Opteron 246 review, but now we have moved on to overclocking the CPU. Our goal was to reach at least 2.2GHz and if possible 2.4GHz so that we could mimic the rumored release speeds of the Athlon 64 which by all accounts will be merely a rebadged Opteron initially until the Socket 754 version comes available. Before we begin here is a wrapup of our Opteron and nForce 3 testing so far."
Another
KT600 based board review:
"After leading a wallflower existence over the past few months, VIA is back to challenge the nVidia dominance in the Socket A domain. A redesigned memory controller capable of withstanding more than 230 MHz operating frequency along with expanded USB 2.0 capacity and finally the native Serial ATA support, including SATA RAID 0 and RAID 1 are amongst the high-lights of the new platform. Integrated network capabilities have been around for some time in VIA's South Bridges, so has sound but the latest Vinyl Audio has made some splash all over the web. Unfortunately, Vinyl Audio requires VIA's own AC'97 VT1616 audio CODEC and ASUS is going with the Analog Devices AD1980 CODEC, meaning, we'll have to skip Vinyl Audio for now."
