dual boot - windows xp + 98

hello! i'm facing this situation: i have recently acquired a new intel p4 3.2ghz with 2x120gb sata wd hdisks and i installed windows xp sp1 in the first disk (c. now, a week later i want to install a copy of windows 98 se because i have some games/software that cannot run properly or at all on win xp. (i have already tried compatibility mode but no luck). i've heard that one has to install the older operating system first (win 9 and then the newer (winxp) in order to have no problems. however i really do not wish to uninstall windows xp. is there any way for me to install win 98 in a fat32 partition on my c: disk or on my other disk without losing windows xp? any advice would be greatly apreciated.
